Essence; this is the very inseparable nature of an entity.
Presently there are three school of thought in art
¤Formism
¤Expsessionism
¤Symbolism/Representationalism
Formism; in this school of thought of art, a work of art is believed to be a form. Form is simply the cognitive identity of an object. Form goes beyond the third dimension.
Expressionism; in this school of thought their credence is that for a product of art to be termed 'art work' it must be an expsession. That is to say a certain emotion must trigger the artist to create the work of art . Therefore anything out of the context remains null.
Symbolism; the concept of the symbolist is that every work of art is a representation of an already natural existing entity. Plato is also an exponent in this concept.

The path to self discovery
"what is man that thou art mindfull of him,..." psalm8:4
Throughout the ages, saints and sages, scientist and thinkers have tried to understand the enigmatic nature of man. Even the great psalmist asked 'what is man?'. This is one question that has puzzeld many and will still do.
We live on a whirling ball in space, positioned between Venus and Mars. Man has measured with accuracy the distance between his planet and the two cosmo bodies, yet he is a mystery to himself. We can build giant bridges to span rivers of great width, but we are unable to span the simple question of 'Who am I?'
'The proper study of mankind is man.' -Pope's Essay on man. The very persons who have been studying all the sciences have not yet study the science of self. The study of the self is the key to open all philosophical doors, and all scientific conundrums, all life's locked problems.
